The Australian Retailers Association (ARA) has thrown its support behind new Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, after he put a small business minister back into Cabinet.
ARA executive director, Russell Zimmerman, said the Prime Minister’s new Cabinet looks promising for retailers with the new ministry targeting problem areas in the retail industry.
“Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s first ministry will be a great opportunity for retailers across the country with Michaelia Cash appointed as Minister for Small Business, Skills and Vocational Education,” Zimmerman said.
“This strong focus on small business and education and training will enable retailers to increase employment and training in the sector to ensure prosperity and growth for the retail industry.”
