Less than a year after its launch, Australian anti-bacterial and anti-viral fabric manufacturer Kangarama has launched its first collaboration range, with The Wiggles no less.
The new range of medical scrubs feature Wiggly prints including animated versions of Anthony, Simon, Lachy and (former Wiggle) Emma Wiggle, fruit salad and the big red car.
The scrubs are made with Kangarama's 'Arma Technology' which inhibits the growth of bacteria and viruses that come into contact with them.
The range is created using post-consumer water bottles and pre-consumer waste as well as Oeko-Tex-certified environmentally-friendly dyes.
Kangarama founder Parry Laxman said the brand is thrilled to bring this range to Australian paediatrics wards and beyond.
"It’s miraculous what a costume change can do for a child in what might otherwise be a high-stress, high-anxiety situation.
"And for a family, too. The Wiggles’ long-lasting legacy is cross-generational, delighting a universal audience of new and old fans alike.
"To ease a hospital experience with a familiar and friendly big red car sewn onto a doctor’s white coat will have a small but momentous impact," he said.
Blue Wiggle Anthony Field welcomed the partnership with Kangarama.
"The Wiggles has always been about spreading laughter, joy, dance and music with children (and big children).
"It’s an honour to bring a touch of that magic into a hospital, where it’s often really needed, and really deeply cherished," he said.
The Kangarama x The Wiggles collaboration collection is available now and retails for $64.95 for the scrubs and $139.95 for the doctor's coat.
