Australian accessories label Helen Kaminski has recorded 126% growth in Australian online sales during FY16.

In addition, the brand has also experienced a 52% increase in retail sales across Australia and New Zealand.

Helen Kaminski is now tapping into the Asian market launching two stores in Tokyo, Japan, as well as executing a digital focus on the Chinese market.

It's using social media platform Weibo, dubbed the Chinese version of Facebook, to allow consumers to interact with the brand.

The strategy has seen an 8% sales increase from the previous year across the Asia Pacific market.

On home soil, the brand will unveil a global flagship store in Sydney's QVB this September.

The brand is currently stocked in a range of local and global boutiques including David Jones, Neiman Marcus, Harvey Nichols and Harrods.

It offers a range of luxury accessories including hats, bags and scarves.

Helen Kaminski launched in Australia in 1983.
