Amazon Australia is set to highlight local Australian businesses during its longest Prime Day from 13-15 October.
The 66-hour shopping event will allow Australian Prime members to shop local deals for 48 hours, with customers able to then shop deals from the US until 6pm on October 15.
Amazon's 'Shop Local' edit will feature a range of Australian small businesses with deals on offer, including fashion brands Tipsy Koala, Modibodi and Stitch & Hide.
Amazon Australia country manager Matt Furlong said that the business is excited to place Aussie businesses "front and centre."
"We’re excited to offer Australian Prime members the chance to access fantastic savings across tens of thousands of products from international and Aussie brands across all categories for Prime Day this year.
"In addition, to help customers discover more local brands on Amazon.com.au, we are proud to put small Australian businesses front and centre through our ‘Shop Local’ store on Prime Day and beyond," he said.
The business counts 150 million Prime members across the globe and last year broke sales records during the event.
