Amazon Australia has teamed up with Australian comedian Joel Creasey to deliver gifts to five unsuspecting Melbournians.
For Random Act of Kindness Day - February 17 - Creasey delivered an Amazon Prime package worth $1000 to five Melbournians who had been nominated by friends and family.
The five recipients were recognised for their incredible resilience with each of them suffering a tough 2020 including personal tragedy, redundancy and health issues.
The special Amazon Prime packages were personally curated by their friends and family and include beauty products, tech, video games and gift cards.
Speaking on the random act of kindness, Creasey said that he was thrilled to be involved in the initiative.
"These Aussies Legends have just been getting on with it despite all the challenges and hardship thrown at them.
"It was incredible hearing their stories and it really showed that we don’t know what the person walking past on the street has gone through.
"It makes the world of difference these little random acts of kindness and I’m so happy to have partnered up with Amazon Australia for the day," he said.
