Alf the Label has joined an industry-wide crowdfunding push to grow its international footprint.

Azura Fashion Group, Threadheads and Citizen Wolf are among fashion brands to list on Birchal in recent weeks, an Australian equity crowdfunding platform for consumer brands.

Alf the Label was created by CEO and creative director Sophie Doyle in 2016.

Doyle said she is seeking funding to grow the brand's international presence.

This includes bolstering inventory, growing the local team and increasing marketing efforts globally.

“Alf has an active community of over 50,000 across Instagram, Facebook and more recently TikTok, who are always wanting to know what’s next for Alf," she said.

"These conversations are authentic, and are usually about mum life, so are very relatable.

"However, in these conversations we also find out what our customers really want, so we then tailor our plans and launches to what they would buy.

"It’s exciting to think how many parents we could reach globally.

"We've had bags and accessories that have sold out within days, often selling through shipments on pre-order, before they have reached our warehouse."

The accessories brand has sold 26,000 products since its launch, with over 15,000 of those orders sent to 26 countries.
