Womenswear designer Alannah Hill will personally deliver the first 30 online orders for her new label.

Hill has officially launched Louise Love via a dedicated online store, promising to deliver the first lot of orders in Melbourne's CBD.

A selection of stock will also be available through an exclusive agreement with department store David Jones.

Hill launched the venture after resigning from her namesake label in August 2013.

"My brave new world is rather terrifying at times, as starting all over again had many highs and many lows," she said.

"I was determined to start Louise Love on my own terms, so I borrowed everything to start my own business."

The first collection, She Moves With a Glitterring Entourage, features 60 styles which are manufactured locally.

The decadent range includes floral prints, sequins, vintage trims, buttons and ranges from silk dresses to beaded evening and appliqued day cardigans.

Prices range from $599 to $899 for dresses; skirts from $299 to $599; jackets from $279 to $299 and; tops from $249 to $499.
