Designer brand Aje has unveiled its newly reimagined Chadstone flagship boutique within the Chadstone shopping centre, introducing the brand’s latest retail concept in Victoria.

Founders Adrian Norris and Edwina Forest have expanded on their concept of the Aje boutique as an art collector’s apartment, this time imagined through a Milanese lens.

The new design includes herringbone-laid travertine and a curation of artworks, as well as sculptural Venini lighting, hand-blown glasswork and ceramic vases by Chanel Tobler and Sophie Nolan. Artworks in the space are by Jordy Hewitt and Simone Griffiths, and are matched with Italian glass, hand-selected vintage furniture and native-inspired details.

The Chadstone space marks the third local boutique to debut Aje’s new flagship design, following recent openings in Armadale and Emporium.

The Aje Collective, which also includes Aje Athletica and its health and wellness brand Ikkari, manages 45 stores across Australia and New Zealand, with three e-commerce websites dedicated to Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world, servicing 221 countries abroad and partnering with over 70 international retailers.

The company was founded in 2008.
