Aje and Superga's second collaboration collection has launched, with a focus on sustainability.
The shoes are made from 60% organic cotton, 40% natural hemp, 100% organic thread, a natural cork insole and a 50% recycled rubber sole.
The focus on sustainability stretches through to the packaging, with no printing or glue used in the shoe box, making it fully recyclable.
Speaking on the collaboration, Aje said that the Superga styles have been reimagined with sustainability in mind.
"Superga’s classic styles have been given an environmentally conscious makeover and reimagined by Aje.
"Brimming with signature Aje details, this year's Aje x Superga sneakers sees signature raw edging, embossed logo details and organic materials combine in this sustainable, organics collaboration."
The Aje x Superga collection is available through Aje’s network of 19 stores in Australia and New Zealand, as well as on the Aje website.
The collection spans both a low, classic style and a high platform style, retailing for $130 and $150 respectively.
