Afends has partnered with jewellery label F+H Studios to create a collection of sunglass chains to complement its debut sunglasses collection.
The two Byron Bay-based brands joined forces to bring three sunglass chains to the market, made with ethically sourced 18k gold, oxidised silver and sterling silver.
The chains come after Afends launched its eyewear collection in February.
"While we were busy exploring the realm of eyewear, we joined forces with jewellery label F+H studios to launch a trio of custom-made sunglass chains for our premium shades," Afends said in a statement.
"F+H work with craftsmen audited by the Global Responsible Jewellery council to ensure materials, supply chains and methods used to create their jewellery are ethically focused with safe and fair work environments while still maintaining their luxury jewellery quality," the brand said.
The Afends sunglass chains are made with a brass base metal material topped with high micron 18k gold, oxidised silver or sterling silver plating, certified by LBMA Responsible Gold to meet international ethics standards.
The chain measures 600mm in length and is adorned with a T bar on either end that slots into the Super Haze and Sherbert sunglasses.
The Afends x F+H chains are available on the Afends website and retail from $110 to $135.
