Accent Group has unveiled its newest Victorian Platypus store at Victoria Gardens.
Abiding by Stage 4 COVID restrictions, the new store is not yet open to the public, but Accent area manager Dewald Knoetze said that the team is eager to open the doors once they are allowed to do so.
"As we all know Victoria is primarily in Stage 4 restrictions and presented our team with challenges from operations, product, legalities and organising team in the COVID world.
"[But] in typical Accent Group fashion all departments brought forward our 'Make it Happen' mentality and the end result is absolutely stunning.
"This store is not yet open to the public, we are following all advice and regulations by the local government but the team are eager to open the doors to you as soon as we can," he said.
The opening of the store follows Accent's FY20 results report, where it reported a total sales increase of 1.5% to $948.9 million for the year.
