Accent Group Limited has issued a statement around media speculation it plans to sell Glue Store.
The footwear group addressed a media article published in The Australian overnight.
"The Company confirms that it has no intention of selling Glue Store," Accent Group said in a statement.
"It is actively implementing Glue Store’s growth strategy. We are pleased to advise that two new stores have opened in the last two weeks, one located in Sunshine Plaza, and a brand-newflagship store in Brisbane CBD as recently as yesterday."
In 2021, Accent Group has entered into an agreement to acquire youth retailer Glue Store and its wholesale and distribution business Next Athleisure for $13 million.
