One of Australia’s largest online retailers Kogan.com has announced a $1 million prize.
Kogan.com, which stocks fashion and accessory brands, is offering the prize as part of the 2014 Melbourne Cup.
The money will be offered to anyone who can correctly pick the first 10 placegetters in correct finishing order in the 2014 Melbourne Cup.
Entry is free for any Australian over the age of 18 via melbcup.kogan.com
Kogan.com founder Ruslan Kogan, a sports enthusiast, has run a similar campaign before.
The Brazilian Million was held during the 2014 Football World Cup, where Kogan offered $1 million to the person who could successfully pick the results of each game in the group stage.
In addition to the $1 million Melbourne Cup prize, there will also be five first prize winners announced for the entries that pick the highest amount of correct positions.
Each of those five will score a free Kogan Agora HD Mini 3G Tablet.
The Kogan.com Melbourne Cup competition is limited to one million entrants.
