A-ESQUE has opened the doors to a new concept space at 555 Chapel Street, Melbourne.
A-ESQUE is the new venture from ex-Mimco founder and creator, Amanda Briskin-Rettig.
Briskin-Rettig sold Mimco for a reported $50 million.
555 Chapel Street marks the first A-ESQUE store to showcase both men’s and women’s collections.
It also features a curated selection of art installations and hand crafted furniture created and made by local artists and craftsmen.
The intent for 555 Chapel Street was to expose and restore the site’s original internal shell.
It features accents of 80s architecture, with hard surfaces such as marble and forged steel offset with linen and wool finishes.
