Australian mask label Clear Collective has seen an 800% increase in digital traffic coming from Melbourne, following the state's re-entrance into stage three lockdowns.

Speaking to Ragtrader the brand said that 90% of the Melbourne traffic was originating from 'hotspot' suburbs.

"Our limited-edition Cloud print sold out in under an hour," Clear Collective said.

"We are restocking this in the next week and it has a 100-person waitlist for the print."

Launched in early 2019, the business has helped Australians get through both the bushfire crisis and now COVID-19.

The cotton masks are made and sewn locally in Sydney, with the business supporting local women during these challenging times.

However, the business is also supporting people in other countries, Clear Collective said.

"We have seen an increase in demand and have sold thousands to those stuck in LA.

"Customers love that you can wash and reuse the masks, [making them] better for the planet and not adding to landfill," the business said.

Clear Collective has stated that it is working overnight to pack and ship orders during this time of heightened demand.
