The winners of the 10th Australian Fashion Laureate Awards were announced last night.
Presented by Etihad Airways, the evening ceremony was hosted at The Cutaway, Barangaroo Reserve.
Here are the top four moments.
1. Watching Dion Lee score a hard-earned accolade
"I feel so honoured and am so thankful to the Australian Fashion Industry for all of their support," Lee said after winning the Laureate. "After a particularly big year for the brand it’s very rewarding and humbling to receive such a prestigious award."

2. Seeing digital influencer Margaret Zhang unleash yet another talent
Blogger, stylist, law graduate, commerce whiz, photographer, ballerina, artist, brand consultant. Now you can add pianist to Zhang's long list of talents. She opened the evening with a stunning classical performance.

3. Witnessing a runway parade of previous Laureate winners
Before the final award was announced, guests enjoyed a runway retrospective show featuring iconic archive pieces from past Laureate winners including Collette Dinnigan, Maticevski, Akira, Easton Pearson, Jenny Kee and Carla Zampatti.

4. Taking in a documentary of Australia's great design talents
How does taking out the Laureate feel for designers and what are their special career moments? Those questions were answered in a special film screening of previous winners and their journeys.
