BWS has partnered with three Aussie designers to reimagine its work uniforms for its 9000 staff.

The Woolworths-owned alcohol retailer will allow its team members to choose which design they want to wear, allowing them to use their uniforms to express their personality.

"We want our team members to feel empowered and wear clothes that reflect their personality and style," BWS MD Scott Davidson said of the new initiative.

Designers Bianca Beers from Blacktown, Sam Rowlands from Mandurama and Steen Jones from Brisbane have lent their skills to BWS, designing prints to adorn the uniforms.

Beers' design pays homage to cocktail mixology, Rowlands' prints feature a snake and a crocodile enjoying a drink, while Jones' piece features a rose and a message in a wine bottle.

"I hope BWS team members feel fly wearing my design," Beers said.

"I tried to create something low-key that had a bit of a band-tee vibe, while also paying homage to the craft of cocktail making," she said.

Rowlands added, "I thought it was fun and a bit cheeky to play with the qualities of liquid softness and our harsh native animals," she said.

BWS team members will start wearing their new wardrobes later this week.
