Searches for 'government grants for small business Australia' have increased 1041% year-on-year according to data analytics website SEMRush. 

Given the current state of the market, searches for 'small business government assistance' has also skyrocketed, increasing 7316% compared to 2019. 

Australians have also increased their searches for online marketplaces in the past six months, with searches increasing by 84.38%. 

According to SEMRush, the top seller sites that have experienced significant growth from January to July 2020 are: 

● ebay.com.au +57.20% 289 million visits in the past 3 months
● Amazon.com.au +90.49% 107 million in the past 3 months
● kogan.com +24.66% 35 million in the past 3 months
● catch.com.au +50.20% 32 million in the past 3 months
● Graysonline.com +26.28% 12 million in the past 3 months
● Mydeal.com.au +46.24% 7.9 million in the past 3 months
● Fishpond.com.au +91.89% 3.6million in the past 3 months
● trademe.co.nz -9.63% 1.8million in the past 3 months

Other notable search increases over the past six months included 'how to start a small online business in Australia' (+100%) and 'where to buy products to sell on Amazon' (+100%).
