Salvos Stores is bringing a new concept to Perth, with the launch of its Street Boutique at Maylands Salvos Stores this month.
Salvos Street Boutique is the brain child of eco-stylist and Salvos Stores brand ambassador, Faye De Lanty.
Based in Sydney, De Lanty has already launched Salvos Street Boutique in four stores and is now ready to expand the concept to Perth.
The Street Boutique uses up-cycled materials in its fit out, with white washed palettes as the back drop for the racks and rails.
The Boutique itself is a carefully curated selection of on trend second hand pieces with style inspiration taken directly from the runway.
Salvos Stores WA regional manager Sean Burgess said the concept allows customers to create individual style on a budget.
"The Street Boutique will be lovingly maintained by our team at Maylands who will hand pick stylish on-trend pieces.
“We are looking forward to working with Faye on this project, and are excited to add the boutique to the already fantastic Maylands Salvos Stores,” he said.
De Lanty will be on site to set up the boutique as well as provide style advice for spring/summer.
“I am excited to be setting up our very first Salvos Street Boutique in Western Australia, spreading the fashion love with the people of Perth and highlighting just how stylish shopping second-hand can be.”
Salvos Street Boutique will launch at Maylands Salvos Stores, 203 Guildford Road on September 16.
Salvos Stores Southern Territory operates 220 retail stores in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and Northern Territory.
Selling pre-loved goods, donated by the public, Salvos Stores raise funding for The Salvation Army Programs.
Last year, Salvos Stores provided $21 million to Salvation Army Community programs, including providing $2.5 million worth of goods free of charge to those most in need.
