167-year old discount retailer Dimmeys has appointed Hall Chadwick partners Richard Albarran, John Vouris and Richard Lawrence as joint liquidators.
The liquidators are seeking expressions of interest for Cool Breeze Clothing trading as Dimmeys from potential buyers or investors.
Established in 1853, Dimmeys operates 26 stores across Australia that have been closed due to the coronavirus.
Fashion and footwear brands included in the bargain retailer's offering include Berlei, Bonds, Calvin Klein, Elle Macpherson Body and Grosby.
The liquidators will monitor the relevant health advice to determine if any of the stores may be able to reopen.
