Perth's Forrest Chase is set to undergo the mammoth development that will see a range of flagship stores and diverse dining offerings open.
The redevelopment is being funded by owners ISPT and will see the transformation of the building's design.
An upgrade to the building façade and adjacent elevated pedestrian walkway's are a key focus.
ISPT general manager, Chris McCluskey, anticipates strong growth for the precinct.
“We are excited about the prospect of this development and are in discussions with leading international retailers that are targeting Perth because of its strong retail market and potential. The project will modernise one of the city’s most popular shopping precincts and will reconnect the retail, pedestrian and civic realms’’.
This is the biggest renovation of Forrest Chase since it opened its doors in 1988.
The transformation is due to be completed in 2017.
