Stylish Sojourn
After more than 40 years spent sourcing clothes for some of Australia's most fashionable women buyer Maria Finlay is hanging up her chequebook. The former Double Bay retailer, who for the past quarter of a century has stationed herself at upmarket wholesale/retail group Tinine, has announced her retirement effective immediately.
Group CEO Brian Tinant said Finlay's contribution to the group had been "immeasurable". Finlay (pictured above with Ita Buttrose) will continue with the group as a non-executive director. Her buying duties will be succeeded by Shaz Tinant and Helen Lee.
