Green to address industry

MELBOURNE: The author of the Federal Government's TCF Review, has announced plans to make his inaugural address to industry. Professor Roy Green, who was appointed by Senator Kim Carr to undertake the review in March, will hold a presentation during which he will provide an insight into what he sees as the industry's strengths and best future prospects.

The event, which follows the public release of the Building Innovative Capability report late last month, will  see the newly appointed Dean of Business at University of Technology Sydney host an interactive discussion with key industry stakeholders based on the myriad of consultations he conducted during the review.

Jointly hosted by the Council of Textile & Fashion Industries of Australia (TFIA), the Footwear Manufacturers Association of Australia and the Technical Textiles & Nonwoven Association, the event takes place on October 23 at the Life Saving Victoria Headquarters in Port Melbourne.
