PERTH: Luxury brand Aurelio Costarella's recently released annual report has confirmed the company's plans to expand its brand profile in terms of exports and new product lines. Future initiatives confirmed in the report include the launch of skin and body care products, an accessories range and a second fashion line aimed at a broader market. The company would continue to explore other means of expanding its global reach to maximise opportunities for strategic growth, the report stated.
The report, released on September 30, confirmed total revenue for the year to June 30 2008 was $745,891, up from $619,778 for the previous year. The loss for the year of $1,612,046 reflected the costs of increased activities associated with international brand development and marketing, with $529,404 spent directly on this activity.
An increase in staff and overhad costs also occurred during the period.
