Top bridal suppliers named

GOLD COAST: Some of the country's most innovative garment and jewellery labels have taken out top gongs in the Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA) annual awards. In all seven brands took out their respective categories in the awards with Queenland's Anita's Fashion named best retail bridal house and best bridesmaid gown. More than 5,700 wedding suppliers were nominated by brides for the awards, conducted by the ABIA over a three-year period.

Other winners included Bizzaro Bridal & Eveningwear (best fashion jewellery), Wendy Makin Bridal (best designer gown/couture), Spurling Formalwear (best grooms' fashion), Suna Shoes (best bridal shoes) and Temelli Jewellery (best jewellery rings).
