MELBOURNE: Body by Dainy Sawatzky has made a strategic move into regional Victoria. The womenswear label has announced it will open a boutique in the tourist and epicurean town of Healesville, located a stone's throw from the scenic wine growing region of the Yarra Valley. A watering hole for Melburnian, interstate and overseas tourists, the store's location also catered to a growing local market, a Body spokesperson confirmed.
The new outlet, located at 314 Maroondah Highway, Healesville, adds to Body's three boutiques based in St Kilda and central Melbourne, as well as Woollahra in Sydney.
Australian made and owned, Body was founded 10 years ago around the concept that clothing should be effortless and original.
"Sawatzky's vision has been to consistently design extremely wearable and individual clothes that work in real life for real women for all aspects of their lives."
As well as its own retail network, Body also has wholesale accounts with over 60 stores across Australia and worldwide including department stores such as Fred Segal in the US, Selfridges in London, United Arrows in Japan, CK Tangs in Singapore and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong.
