New face to join Jeanswest

MELBOURNE: Denim giant Jeanswest has appointed a new general manager of product. Freya Cutelli will join the company in early September, bringing a broad range of experience to the role, comprising high level positions at fast fashion Australian retail brands including Sportsgirl, Witchery and Sussan.

A spokesperson for the company confirmed Cutelli's was a new position re-aligned from the role of product director, previously occupied by Tali Kalb, who had left the company to pursue other interests.

Cutelli - described as "results driven" had achieved "phenomenal successes in each and every one of her previous roles".

"On top of her proven track record, Freya lights up the room with her passion for fashion. She is a true merchant, with a keen eye for understanding her customer, relishing in delivering them exactly what they’re after season after season."

Jeanswest director of merchandise Belinda Barlow welcomed the appointment.

“We are extremely excited to have Freya Cutelli joining our executive team, her experience, passion and retail know-how will be a fantastic addition to an already strong product team” .
