PERTH: Costarella Design has appointed a director and secured a loan for the expansion of its business. Richard Chan has been appointed as a non-executive director. He is on the board of several public listed and private companies and has 11 years of corporate experience, including seven years as managing director of Singapore listed company Magnus Energy.
The $400,000 convertible loan was secured from Amrita Capital for nine months at 10 per cent per annum, with the lender assured the option to convert part of the loan to ordinary shares at two cents per share.
Aurelio Costarella founded Costarella Design in 2000, making history in 2007 by becoming the first individual fashion designer to be listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Costarella boasts over 20 years of experience in design and business. The Aurelio Costarella brand is represented in international stores including Harvey Nichols (Hong Kong); American Rag Cie, We Of The Never Never (Los Angeles), Gio Moretti and Lazzari (Italy).
