MELBOURNE: Fashion Exposed has unveiled an official marketing partnership with leading apparel company Pacific Brands. The joint venture comprises a three year agreement that will officially kick off with the fair's upcoming Melbourne edition from September 14 to 16.
Pacific Brands - a Fashion Exposed exhibitor since the fair was established nine years ago - would work with fair organiser Australian Exhibitions and Conferences (AEC) to maximise opportunities with local and international buyers, said AEC managing director Marie Kinsella.
"We are pleased to be able to confirm this partnership with Pacific Brands and believe this is an important time in the fair’s history. Through this partnership we believe there will be greater opportunities for retailers which will be reflected at the fair and the industry overall."
Pacific Brands CEO Sue Morphet said the company was "delighted to partner this all important event for the Australian industry."
Morphet will officially open the fair on Sunday September 14, after which Pacific Brands product will be showcased at the company's first runway show of the season.
Pacific Brands' apparel and footwear labels include Bonds, Holeproof, Hard Yakka, Clarks Childrens, Dunlop Sport, Slazenger, Grosby and Hush Puppies.
