GEELONG: A new youth fashion precinct will take pride of place when Westfield launches the second stage of its $200 million Bay City redevelopment program on Thursday. The Level One precinct, which will house some of the 60 new shops and eateries to be opened as part of the redevelopment, will boast high-profile retailers such as Glue, Glassons, Everlast and Edge Clothing.

It is understood the redevelopment would see menswear brands yd. and PO Box launch their first stores in Geelong. Other apparel retailers to join the centre include iconic outerwear brand R.M Williams (ground floor), Equip, Esprit Kids, Kids Central and discount department store Big W.

Department store giant Myer, which has undergone its own refurbishment program, is expected to relaunch at the centre next month with new additions such as David Lawrence, Review and diffusion label Hi There by Karen Walker.
