New foothold for FEX

MELBOURNE: The upcoming edition of trade fair Fashion Exposed & Preview will be co-located for the first time with the Australian Shoe Fair (ASF). The combined three day event would give fashion buyers the opportunity to supplement their ranges with selected footwear, bags and accessories, a spokesperson for the event confirmed.

Both events would feature new season trends, labels and ideas, with Fashion Exposed including regular events such as the International Designer Showcase and emerging designer competition Debut.
 
New Fashion Exposed exhibitors confirmed for September include knitwear specialist Twitchett and Tonge, as well as old hands Pacific Brands and The Austin Group. The expo will also hold new intimate "satellite" shows over the three days, as well as its regular catwalk shows.

Fashion Exposed & Preview and ASF will take place from September 14 to 16 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Southbank.
