GOLD COAST: Riot founder Gillian Marriage has gone back to school. The swimwear designer has recently realised a long held dream of teaching after completing a Certificate Four in Training and Assessment.
The move has seen Marriage engage with students from the Gold Coast's Australian Institute of Creative Design (AICD) where she is teaching the swimwear component.
The Training and Assessment certificate is by no means Marriage's first notable achievement. She won her first swag of swimwear awards in 1983 under her previous label GM Gold, and since launching Riot in 2000 has been a regular visitor to the podium at the National Retail Association's annual awards show.
