Gift Award winners announced

SYDNEY: Handbag labels have dominated the fashion categories at the 2008 Reed Gift Awards staged on Friday (May 30). The Bloomin' Bag Lady and International One's handbag hooker took out their respective fashion and jewellery categories during the black tie event, staged at Doltone House on Sydney's Jones Bay Wharf.

Covering all sectors of the Australian gift industry as well as retail outlet and socially responsible categories, The Gift Awards entries underwent a two-tiered judging process involving more than 30 judges.

All winners have now been automatically entered into the new 'People's Choice Award' with the general public able to vote for their favourite product. Voting closes July 1.
