Sabatini sorted
Moon Goddess was the theme and spring/summer was the season as New Zealand headquartered, Sydney-designed knitwear brand Sabatini White launched its new collections recently. Staged in the Gazebo Wine Garden in Sydney's Elizabeth Bay, the runway amidst an array of greenery and flowers. Guests included Akira Isogawa and fashion commentator Patty Huntington. Santa comes early
What better way to get rid of a post-Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) headache than a two hour jaunt around Sydney's magestic harbour? At least that was the situation confronting key fashion media and designers after RAFW sponsor Santa Vittoria offered to alleviate the pain aboard its self-titled launch Santa Vittoria II. Pictured enjoying the action is Livia Tassanyi and Rebecca O'Hearn.
Sweet Cheeks
Tables heaving with every sweet imaginable greeted guests fortunate enough to be invited to denim brand Sweet Cheeks first birthday celebrations earlier this month. Glass cylinders filled with red hearts, lollipops and milk bottles graced Sydney's Piano Room while each guest, including singer Jade McRae and league star Craig Wing, was greeted with pink sherbet cocktails upon arrival. Pictured wearing the sponsor's product is Jordan Loukas of Australia's Next Top Model.
Bally
Swiss accessories brand Bally provided just the right antidote to Australian Fashion Week when it hosted the official launch of its newly refurbished Sydney store last month. The store's new look, designed by Brian Atwood, was set up to "evoke a sense of calmness" with key features including natural oak floors, brown velvet rugs and soft boucle fabric sofas. Pictured enjoying the surroundings is Bally Australia marketing and communications manager Shemi Alovic with her Asian-based colleague.
