Retailers get Carried away
NATIONAL: Australian fashion retailers are gearing up to capitalise on the release of the Sex and The City film.
Value womenswear retailer Forever New has announced it will launch a rosette brooch inspired by the film's leading character, Carrie Bradshaw. The limited edition accessory will be available from Forever New stores nationally.
Department store Myer has also jumped on the Sex and The City bandwagon and secured natioanl distribution rights for a one-off collection by Patricia Field. The Sex and The City costume designer has designed a 40-piece womenswear range with tops starting at $79, skirts from $89 and dresses and jackets from $199.
The collection will debut globally on October 18.
