GOLD COAST: A timely collaboration is set to give luxury lingerie line Sally Jones the excuse it needs to hit the Asian market.
A relatively new stockist of the brand, Innee, has recently been taken over by an umbrella company, which intends to use it to penetrate new markets across Asia.
As part of the merger Innee, which has stocked the Gold Coast-based label for the past three seasons, has opened five new stores, resulting in the Sally Jones label now being sold across Hong Kong and Macau as well as mainland China.
Other brands in the umbrella group include apparel labels Rosy and Billet Doux.
The news caps off a successful period for the 18-year-old lingerie brand, which is now stocked in more than 40 Australian boutiques and has more than 100 offshore accounts, including boutiques across Europe, the US, New Zealand and Japan.
