Pac Brands new appointment

MELBOURNE: Australian clothing, footwear and intimate apparel giant Pacific Brands has announced the appointment of a non-executive director to its board.

James McKenzie, chairman of property specialists Mirvac Group and a director of funds management firm Bravura Solutions, will take up the position on May 27. McKenzie is also currently a director at Circadian Technologies, Victorian Transport Accident Commission, Victorian Workcover Authority and Melco PBL Entertainment.

Pacific Brands chairman Pat Handley said McKenzie's credentials made him an asset to the group.

"James' board experience comes from a diverse set of listed companies in Australia and overseas and he will be an invaluable addition to the board."
