SYDNEY: Rosemount Australian Fashion Week officially kicked off on April 28.
Womenswear designer Kirrily Johnston launched the five day event with a showcase of her spring/summer 2008 collection. Stalwarts Nicola Finetti and Wayne Cooper were also scheduled to show alongside Michelle Jank, relaunching her ready-to-wear womenswear line after a short-lived debut at RAFW in 2000.
Swimwear label Hotel Bondi Swim, High Street favourite One Teaspoon and couture designer Ruth Tarvydas also showed on day one of the industry event.
