SYDNEY: US men’s underwear brand 2(x)ist, has introduced a new range to free the male species from perspiration, bunching and restriction of movement during sporting activities.
The Varsity collection features the 2(x)ist classic cut No-Show Brief priced $29.95 and Trunk priced $32.95), made from pique knit in a high tech blend of modal and cotton.
The premium quality blend was designed to create a high tensile strength fabric to withstand tough workouts, said a 2(x)ist spokesperson.
"The combination of yarns stops the chance of chaffing and prolongs endurance. The modal fibre assists with the wicking process whereby perspiration is transferred away from the skin surface to the outside of the garment, making it 50 per cent more water absorbent then standard cotton underwear."
The Varsity No-Show Brief and Trunk were also designed to be form fitting and hold and support men while allowing total freedom of movement.
The collection – which also includes the Varsity Retro Tank priced $34.95 - is available in Australia in white with blue piping or black with green piping.
Distributed in Australia by the Sydney-based Hot Springs group, the 2(x)ist Varsity collection is available at selected boutiques nationally.
