Shoes tap online market

 MELBOURNE: Unisex footwear brand Zu shoes has launched its first online store.

A spokesperson for the brand confirmed the new online outlet would allow customers across Australia to access Zu's full range of shoes and bags.

Located at zushoe.com.au the online store formed part of a new website offering a range of enhanced features, including a style guide and the 'Zu crew' loyalty club for regular Zu shoppers, she said.

To celebrate the launch of Zu Online, the retailer would reward customers who spent a minimum of $70 in a single online transaction before May 18 2008, with free standard shipping anywhere in Australia.

The online store would greatly enhance Zu's market penetration particularly in regional areas. The Melbourne-headquartered brand operates around 20 stores in urban areas, with it's main flagship store located in Pitt Stree Sydney.
