MELBOURNE: Underwear and hosiery specialist Ambra has made its first stab at the shapewear market with the launch of the Killer Figure range.
Made from high tech micro fibre, the collection of undergarments and hosiery promised to "lift all the right bits into place, guaranteeing an instantly sleek silhouette," an Ambra spokesperson said.
The Killer Figure range comprised 12 pieces including 'Waist Killer Briefs', 'G's', 'Boylegs', 'Smooth Line Shorts', 'Secret Slips', 'Power Briefs' and 'Bum Shaping Shorts'. Available in black and bare hues, each piece was structured without side seams for an enhanced fit.
Meanwhile Ambra Killer Figure hosiery was available in a palette of black or nude and sheer or opaque finishes.
Retailing for $17.95 to $24.95 for underwear and $9.95 to $11.95 for hosiery, the Ambra Killer Figure range was available in Myer and David Jones stores and specialist boutiques nationally.
Ambra Corporation was founded in 1992 and was initially launched with distribution of the Levante hosiery brand in Australia, followed by entry into the UK and New Zealand markets.
Now regarded as one of Australia's largest importers of women's hosiery, seamfree bodywear and underwear Ambra encompasses a broad spectrum of product categories including hosiery, socks, underwear and bodywear.
