ADELAIDE: Womenswear brand Mai-Loui has revealed plans to move back into the wholesale market following a successful stint at US showcase G'Day USA in February.
 
Mai-Loui designer Anna Williamson said wholesaling her brand for winter 2009 would give her access to a greater share of the Australian market.

Mai-Loui had been wholesaling until 2006 when it opened its own boutique in Adelaide to focus solely on retail.

Williamson said her participation in G'Day USA had given her a strong sense of the brand's wholesale potential.

Her immediate plan was to focus on wholesaling Mai-Loui - designed for women aged 25 to 55 and produced in Adelaide - into the Adelaide and Perth retail markets, followed by Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
