North Face busts a move

MELBOURNE: Global outdoor footwear, apparel and equipment specialist The North Face marked the opening of its Elizabeth Street store in sweaty style.

The brand hosted a 24 hour in-store treadmill marathon between leading athletes Martin Fryer, David Waugh and Deanne Nobbs. 

The three ultra-marathon runners achieved a ranking within the top five world 24 hour treadmill performances while Nobbs broke the Australian women's record.

The new Elizabeth Street store comprises two levels in the Galleria Plaza and boasts polished floorboards, mahogany counters and broad mirrors.
