MELBOURNE: Ten emerging designers will showcase their talent at a new improved version of the Midnight Fashion event launched last year.
Midnight Fashion returns on Friday March 28 2008 in the form of Midnight Fashion 2, with participating labels including Alexi Freeman, Voyager, Anna Campbell, Kiss Chacey, Shona Design, Nana Judy, Jaci Bailey, L Maree, Gimp and Chocolate City, which celebrated its tenth birthday in February.
A spokesperson for the event said Midnight Fashion 2 had secured a "bigger and better" venue at The Royal Melbourne Hotel, 629 Bourke Street, Melbourne.
"This will ensure plenty of space for an expected 500-strong crowd.
Midnight Fashion 2 will also be debuting a new catwalk: lavishly long and extremely elevated, the new runway will ensure that attendees will be able to see every model and every designer piece with ease."
In addition to two feature runway shows, Midnight Fashion would also feature live music and entertainment throughout the night.
"With these changes in place and a fresh set of designers dying to put their ranges on display, Midnight Fashion 2 looks to excel last year's debut."
