MELBOURNE: Womenswear label Decjuba has expanded its offering with the introduction of a denim range.

According to a spokesperson for the label, the addition of a basic jeans range to Decjuba's overall offering had been introduced to extend its "full wardrobe offering".

"We have had an overwhelming response to our first time denim, largely due to a value for money proposition coupled with a great fit and quality finish. The jeans really are a steal at $119.95 and are currently offered in a palette of indigo and black," she said.

The denim offering had launched with basic jeans but in May would broaden the range, with its first drop of 'dirty denim' garments.

"We'll be doing denim skirts and jeans with exposed zip trims; something a little edgier.  For summer we plan to follow up with denim shorts and skirts."

Decjuba denim was designed to complement its recently released autumn winter range, with campaign images telling a "European winter tale," the spokesperson said.

"[The story is] sexy, moody and sophisticated, inspired by late forties and fifties Parisian street style.  Russian model “Valerija” from Chic Management brought effortless charm to the campaign by embracing a free and easy glamour, all qualities that embody Decjuba's autumn winter collection."
