Starting out for myself seven years ago without really thinking about it...best thing I ever did

My biggest risk
Taking the plunge from full time employment to the unknown of starting a fashion business. I'm so glad I took it though, seven years on I'm working in an industry that I had never even considered while I was studying

My proudest moment
I haven't had it yet - I'm still working towards it

My biggest regret
 I don't believe in them. Everything happens for a reason and it's up to me to turn what others see as a mistake into a positive

My biggest fashion faux pas
There are so many. Ouch. Definitely the turtle neck bodysuit. It's so wrong

My mentor
My mum. She is such a strong woman and has always taught me to be independent and to go with my gut instinct

If I could do it over
I would ask more questions

If I wasn't in fashion I'd be
Working with childrens' products. It's such a dynamic industry

In my spare time I
Love to cook, read, spend all of my money on Ebay and hang out with my kids. Oh and go to the pub

People would be surprised to know I
Am obsessed with shoes. Like ridiculously obsessed with shoes

I want my epitaph to say
That I was a good person and a great mother (and good wife, clever designer, great cook etc etc.........)
