Insidious Fix lasts longer than expected
AUCKLAND: A New Zealand designer sprung with $1 million worth of cannabis plants in his warehouse has had his sentencing delayed.
Insidious Fix founder Jason Crawford, who was arrested in 2005 after a police raid on his Onehunga warehouse uncovered cannabis plants ranging in size from seedlings to fully grown, was due for sentencing last week after being found guilty of 12 charges in November.
The case has been put off until a callover in Auckland District Court of February 19, when a new sentencing date would be set. After a consultation with lawyers, Judge Mary Beth Sharp told the court the sentencing could not proceed.
Crawford was found guilty of two charges of cultivating cannabis, one of selling cannabis and nine of receiving stolen property.
