Nicole and Keith add apparel to repertoire

NATIONAL: Australian actress Nicole Kidman and New Zealand-born husband keith Urban have become the latest celebrities to sign their name to a range of clothing, according to newspaper reports.

Fairfax-owned dailies The Brisbane Times and the Sydney Morning Herald both ran stories over the long weekend detailing the high-profile couple's plans to flog their own fashion label.

The brand, which will be sold under the title Hank Evie - believed to be the pet names the pair had when they first met - has been trademarked in both the US and Australia, the reports said.

This allows the pair to start selling everything from apparel to footwear, belts and accessories.

It is not known when the label's first full collection will be debuted with the brand currently selling Urban's concert T-shirts.

The pair join other Australian celebrities including Kylie Minogue, Ian Thorpe and Elle Macpherson in releasing their own label.
