SYDNEY: Australian womenswear label sass & bide is back on the New York Fashion Week trail.
The burgeoning ready-to-wear brand, which boasts two retail sites in Australia and a global distribution base, was forced to withdraw from the September 2007 instalment as designer Heidi Middleton recovered from breast cancer treatment.
Joining the Australian contingent this year will be eveningwear designer Jayson Brunsdon and womenswear afficiado Kit Podgornik (Willow). Local attendance for the February 1 to 8 installment is slightly down from September, with Aurelio Costarella, Josh Goot and Toni Maticevski not confirmed to show for the fall collections.
