SYDNEY: Australian womenswear designer Marie Hatzis has taken on another corner of the globe.
The Sydney-based designer, who is currently exporting to nine countries including the Middle East and the UK, is making her first foray into the American market.
Her collections, 'Live to Love' under the Hussy label and 'A Loving Memory Now Blooms' under Madame Marie, will drop into stores such as Elizabeth Charles, Fred Segal Trend, BigDrop and Planet Blue this season.
Hatzis currently has three retail sites throughout Australia and wholesales to 80 boutiques and department stores nationally.
